Lower energy prices "eased fears of an inflation spike that could force central banks to raise rates even as labor markets across the world show signs of deterioration," he says. Bitcoin rises back above $70,000 which is seen as an important psychological milestone for traders, he says. If bitcoin holds above this level, it could improve sentiment towards the cryptocurrency and encourage further buying, he says. Bitcoin rises 2.2% to $70,551, LSEG data show.
